Friday marked two years since the shooting in Parkland, Florida, which left 17 people dead.
In the shooting’s aftermath, the brave students of Stoneman Douglas High School organized a national march in support of new legislation to prevent gun violence. Millions of young people across the country stood up for stricter gun laws – an appeal shared by 60% of Americans, according to polling data. And yet, our Senate has done nothing to reform our gun laws.
While the House has passed commonsense bills that would address gun violence, these bills are now collecting dust on Mitch McConnell's desk. This is unacceptable. That's why I'm petitioning for the Congress to take substantive action on Gun Violence.
Will you sign on to my petition to demand the Senate pass common-sense gun reform legislation?
Thank you for taking action,
