Dear John xxxxxx,
Pope Pius XI spoke clearly against socialism.
But today over 36% of U.S. adults say they view
socialism somewhat (30%) or very (6%) positively, according to the Pew Research Center.
Even some “progressive” clergy claim that Jesus was the first
socialist, which is a blatant lie.
To protect true freedom in America, a team of TFP Student Action volunteers – 15 strong – is touring Louisiana and Texas right
now as I write.
Yesterday, they were in New Orleans.
They are educating the public on the street with conversations and debates.
Their persuasive leaflet “Ten Reasons to Reject
Socialism” is reaching thousands and they display a large banner in public that reads:
“May God Protect America from Socialism.”

TFP volunteers are inspiring “soldiers of Christ.”
Because they gave up part of their summer vacation to embrace hardship and sacrifice.
On these tours, you don’t always
get three square meals or have a place to stay the night. To keep the vans rolling with a full tank of gas can also be a challenge.

Despite many hardships, TFP volunteers love what they do.
This time, the tour was christened as the “Saint Michael the Archangel Caravan Against Socialism.”
To keep up their strength, these
young men need healthy meals and a good night’s rest. Day in and day out for the next two weeks.
Let me tell you, I have met these fine men, and they are worthy of representing you and me and the Catholic Faith we hold dear.
They are serious and articulate.
