This week, I was pleased to meet with Athletico PT. We had a great time discussing the integral role physical therapy plays in our healthcare system.

GET THE FACTS: President Biden Compromised

This week, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability released a timeline of the Biden family’s domestic and international business practices in correspondence with President Biden’s time in politics from his time as vice president up until today. The committee determined the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors, President Biden is compromised, and our national security is threatened. For a full timeline of events click here.

Around the District

Monica from our district office presented a congressional recognition to Your Sure Foundation, a nonprofit that serves the residents of the West Valley by providing credit, housing, and financial counseling. Thank you for your unwavering dedication to seniors and families in the district.

Monica from our district office toured the Copper State Credit Union Operations Center and learned all about the services they provide. We are happy to have them as a part of our community!

Monica from our district office presented a Congressional Recognition to Sun Health Re-Sale shop in Sun City West. The proceeds of Sun Health Re-Sale shops go toward local projects at Banner Boswell Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, and Sun Health Wellness programs and services.

Monica from our district office attended a ribbon cutting for PLAYzona, an indoor children’s playground and family center in Glendale. Welcome to the 8th Congressional District!

Monica from our district office attended Angels on Patrol’s 10th Annual School Backpack Drive where more than 840 backpacks were donated to police departments throughout the valley to benefit children.

Casework Highlight

A Vietnam Veteran contacted our office requesting assistance to replace his lost military service medals. Our office contacted the Department of the Navy to inquire about obtaining replacements. The Navy reviewed his records and determined he was eligible for the medals. The replacements were sent to the District Office for the presentation of his medals.

Mobile Office Hours

Our office is hosting Mobile Office Hours on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Inspira at Arrowhead Community in Glendale, AZ from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM AZ Time. Our casework team is ready to answer your questions and assist you with federal agencies.

Submissions for the Congressional App Challenge are now open to all middle and high school students! The Congressional App Challenge is a competition to encourage students to engage in coding and computer science. App submissions are due by November 1, 2023. Winning apps will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol! Register today and submit your app here .
