Dear John,

It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting
for our conservative values.

I want to take a moment to honor Officer Jake Wallin. He and his fellow
officers were confronted by an active shooter while investigating a traffic
crash. Officer Wallin was fatally shot in the line of duty. As a Minnesota Army
National Guard veteran, his commitment to service extended beyond the badge
during his three months with the Fargo Police Department. Let us pay tribute to
his bravery as we mourn a very promising life senselessly cut short.

This week, we welcomed Israeli President Isaac Herzog to speak before a joint
session of Congress. Per usual, far-left “Squad” members like Ilhan Omar
protested President Herzog’s speech, calling Israel an apartheid and racist
state. Israel is a multicultural democracy and our greatest ally and partner in
combating Iranian-backed terrorism. I am honored not only to welcome the
Israeli President but also to support a bipartisan resolution proclaiming that
our ally Israel is not a “racist state.” It is important to reiterate our
support for Israel and that antisemitism, including delegitimizing Israel as a
sovereign state, has no place in Congress.

Rural communities across the country are struggling with population decline,
much less attracting future generations. Supporting them is essential. We need
to help them grow and thrive, and that means providing the resources needed to
build hospitals, childcare centers, and senior care centers. That's why I am
pleased to introduce the Investing in Rural America Act. This bill will provide
rural communities with much-needed capital through the Community Facilities
Loan and Grant Program by restoring farm credit institutions’ ability to
finance community infrastructure via local lenders and the Department of
Agriculture.

As always, please contact my office if there is anything we can help with.
Thank you for your continued support!

With gratitude,
