New and Prospective Member Meeting

The Fairfax Young Democrats (FYD) is a progressive grassroots member-led organization principally comprised of young people within Fairfax County and the City of Fairfax. FYD develops politically conscious young community volunteers who are invested in improving their communities and the Democratic Party.  In addition, we work to build a strong network of young progressives to lead in our community. 

If you think you might want to join or learn more about the political landscape, this is the meeting to attend.  Join us on Tuesday, February 18 at Pohick Library to learn more about our organization. 

VAYD Convention | March 27-29| Alexandria

The 2020 VAYD Convention will be held in Northern Virginia. The Alexandria Young Democrats will be hosting and we are sure to expect a great time. Young Democrats chapters from across the Commonwealth will be coming to our neck of the woods. The VAYD Convention is our annual organizational election, training, and social event.
