The GOP just held a hearing on disinformation – not on how to stop it, but how to promote it.

Republican Congressman Jim Jordan invited known anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists to testify to the House Judiciary Committee and spread their dangerous lies in the halls of Congress.

The GOP is being clear here: they want to force social media companies to spread lies and harmful disinformation.

Why are they doing this? Because they know that when Trump becomes the Republican nominee for president, the GOP will go all-in to make sure his baseless lies get as much airtime as possible.

We need to defeat the MAGA GOP and flip control of Congress. That’s the only way that we can stop the GOP from promoting harmful lies and conspiracy theories.
