On Tuesday, Jim Jordan and I sent FBI Director Christopher Wray a letter providing him the opportunity to correct the record regarding his testimony before Congress. Some of the things he said on the record clearly contradict the evidence and findings of the court in Missouri v. Biden. Either he was being untruthful, or he is unaware of the egregious and unconstitutional activities of his agency. Neither scenario is acceptable. Read about the letter here: HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEKWe had many friendly faces from back home on visits in Washington this week. I enjoyed speaking with the Louisiana Bankers Association on Wednesday about crucial matters facing the industry and how best to support a growing economy in Louisiana.
It was also a privilege to speak with the national conference of Christians Engaged this week. This is one of the key ministries in America working to equip and empower believers to stand for truth and make an impact on public policy and the direction of our country. “For such a time as this!”
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:Following the House Oversight Committee’s whistleblower hearing concerning interference in the Hunter Biden investigation, I joined Mornings with Maria on Fox Business to discuss House Republicans’ efforts to bring this information to light. The facts I relayed here are truly disturbing, and we will continue to follow them wherever they lead. LAGNIAPPECongratulations to my former colleagues in the Louisiana Legislature, who stood up for children – and against the Governor – by voting to override this veto. This is a huge win for parental rights and common sense. Children will NOT be mutilated in the south. Thank you again for subscribing and reading. We’ll have more next week! For freedom,
