Earlier this week, I was proud to help unveil the New Democrat Coalition’s Economic Opportunity Agenda, a comprehensive roadmap to build on the progress we have made to lower costs, fight inflation, and grow our economy from the middle out and the bottom up.

We have made tremendous progress in strengthening our economy – with inflation slowing to the lowest levels in two years in June – but more work remains to ensure everyone feels the impact of this work. That’s what this agenda seeks to accomplish, and that’s what I will keep fighting for in Congress.

From expanding access to treatment to stopping the flow of dangerous drugs into our communities, I am fighting to combat the addiction crisis.

This week, my bipartisan legislation to address the addiction and mental health crisis passed a key committee and is now heading to the House floor!

Every life lost to substance use disorder is a tragedy – we have taken great strides to address this epidemic, but more work remains.

I am proud to lead the reauthorization of the SUPPORT Act, a bipartisan opportunity for Congress to expand access to treatment and recovery programs, strengthen the mental health and substance use disorder workforce, update our response to the fentanyl crisis, and much more.

I am working to make it easier – not harder – for families to access the long-term care they need.

In my experience caring for my mother when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I saw firsthand how important innovative medicine and technology are for patients and their families.

I was proud to share my mom’s story this week in the Energy and Commerce Committee and highlight ways Congress can help improve health outcomes in New Hampshire and across the country.
