"He will be a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgement, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate."
– Isaiah 28:6
Africa & Europe
Praise God for the opportunity for IJM to co-host a key conference in Kampala, Uganda!
IJM Uganda, alongside other partners, supported the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to host the Conference of the East African Association of Prosecutors. Established in 2010, the Association brings together national prosecution authorities in the region, with the objective of promoting and facilitating cooperation to ensure effective measures for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of crime. We pray for efforts like these to close the justice gap and bring more women and children under the protection of the law.
Latin America
Please pray for the restoration of peace in Peru. Currently, there are protests against the new government, and security measures have been intensified, causing turmoil and a state of emergency that greatly impact the daily lives of Peruvians. Join us in praying for the safety of the survivors we serve, our partners and our staff. May peace be swiftly restored to the country.
South Asia
Please pray for our recruitment of several critical roles in the region. We are looking for some very specific experts—especially to join our frontlines teams working to combat bonded labor at the local district level. Pray that God would stir the right candidates to apply, and for creativity and stamina for our amazing HR team in South Asia!
Asia Pacific
Join us in praying for elections in Cambodia this weekend. Our prayer is that the elections would be peaceful, and that officials would be elected who will promote justice for all those living in fear of violence. We pray for a government in Cambodia that facilitates peace and freedom for its people!
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
We continue to pray fervently for God’s favor for our staff around the globe. We recognize that the work we do is both essential and valuable, which often exposes it to challenges and criticism. We pray that our staff will feel the nearness of the Lord even as they experience hardship.
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them,
please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
