After telling countless lies to get to Congress, George Santos swore he would serve us in Washington and put his constituents first.
Turns out, that was just another lie — take a look at yesterday’s headline:
Constituent casework is one of the core duties a member of Congress has. They act as our liaisons with other government agencies, like the IRS, the SBA, and the VA. Through these cases, members can help the people they serve recover their hard earned money, receive their benefits, or even obtain a passport — but Santos has only closed 9 of these cases since he took office.
For reference: other members of Congress have closed over 1,000 cases in the same amount of time.
Every second that George Santos spends in Congress (not even doing his job) is a second wasted for the people of NY-03 who need an advocate in Washington. So I promise you this:
