You might have already seen recent news highlighting the upcoming special election on August 8 in Ohio on Issue 1 -- a question that if approved would end majority rule and limit the future ability of Ohioians to hold legislators accountable for generations to come.

Ohio Republican lawmakers have placed this deceptive 'Issue 1' on the ballot to preserve minority rule and further complicate the democratic process. It's a blatant attempt to silence the voices of Ohioans.

But here's where the tide can turn in our favor. Recently, Former Attorney General Eric Holder spoke out passionately about the significance of voting NO on Issue 1. He emphasized that power ultimately lies in the hands of the people -- you and me. And he's absolutely right.

"Republicans have set up this special election in a last-minute bid to keep Ohio voters from deciding if abortion access should be enshrined in Ohio's Constitution this November. But the people have the ultimate power. It’s critical that we show up to the ballot box on August 8 and vote NO on Issue 1. VOTE NO!!!" -- A.G. Holder

We must stick together, united in our resolve, to show up at the ballot box and vote against any anti-democratic measures that would silence the voice of the people.
