At PJI, we have a deep bench of staff attorneys, all with a wealth of valuable experience. Ronald Hackenberg, our staff attorney in Mississippi is no exception. Ron came to practice law after a decorated 35-year law enforcement career which included serving as the Statewide Director of Criminal Investigation for the Pennsylvania State Police and as Chief of Police at California State University San Marco. Ron also has extensive experience in church security.
I recently interviewed Ron to create a 20-minute training video and we have provided it free to pastors, to ensure they have the best security practices in place for their church. Pastors routinely pay thousands of dollars to hire a church security organization to take their staff through the process of preparing for, and responding to, hostile events; but we provided all that for free to all the pastors in our email database.
Everything was free…The advice, the pragmatic next steps for pastors to take and the specific resources needed to accomplish the goal of creating a safe space within their church.
