Distribution of an Early Years SEN Inclusion Fund (SEN IF) underspend from 2018/19
For the financial year 2018/19, there was an under-spend on the SEN Inclusion Fund.? This under-spend is being distributed to schools and early years providers on a per-head basis for pupils accessing the universal entitlement who qualified for High Level Needs (HLN) top-up funding or SEN IF funding in the Autumn term 2019.? We consulted Schools Forum on our intention to distribute any 2018/19 underspend in this way at the meeting on 15 January 2019.? The SEN Inclusion Fund will be reviewed during the coming year to take into account the level of demand since its introduction and forthcoming changes to HLN funding.? If changes are proposed as a result, these will be consulted on with the early years sector.
Those settings that qualify will be contacted in the next 2 weeks with further details
