As a lifelong resident of PA-12, a dedicated advocate, organizer, and activist in her communities, and a former Pennsylvania state legislator, Summer has a long history of fighting for progress in Western PA — and she’s only kept that up in Washington.
During Summer’s first six months in Congress, she’s been busy speaking out about the key issues facing so many of us, like student loan forgiveness, voting rights, and racial justice. She’s rallied with labor unions, called out reckless military spending, and introduced her first bill to raise hazard pay and increase protections for our heroic health care workers — and she’s only getting started!
