Dem AGs are calling out GOP efforts to roll back progress.
Friend —
Dem AGs are calling out GOP AGs after they tried to intimidate American businesses and roll back progress on workplace diversity and inclusion.
Last week, 13 GOP AGs issued a letter to Fortune 100 companies threatening legal action if businesses continued with diversity programs meant to reduce inequalities in the workplace. In response, Nevada AG Aaron Ford led 20 Dem AGs in swiftly issuing a response letter reassuring companies that diversity initiatives should continue — both because they’re legal, and because they’re good for business.
We’re the party that believes in freedom — the freedom for workers to explore new opportunities, and for businesses to proudly stand up for what they believe in. Meanwhile, GOP politicians are obsessed with control. They want to control what companies do, who can get an abortion, and what books your kids are taught in school.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
