Last Wednesday, I announced our campaign's most ambitious fundraising goal yet: raising $7 million before the Nevada caucuses.
Since then, grassroots donors across the country have raised their hands and chipped in a few bucks — many for the first time — and together, we've made great progress. I'm so grateful to everyone who's pitched in and helped power this movement.

I'm spending the next several days traveling to Nevada, South Carolina, and Super Tuesday states, talking with as many voters as I can. But we still have some work to do to reach our goal, so I'm counting on more first-time grassroots donors to chip in so our campaign can remain competitive through Super Tuesday.
If this were another campaign, I'd be flying to Silicon Valley or Manhattan to raise money from deep-pocketed donors at closed-door events. Some of the other candidates are doing that right now.
But I'm relying on grassroots donors, and grassroots donors only — no fancy fundraisers with the wealthy and well-connected, no billionaire fortune, just working people chipping in whatever they can, whenever they can.
That's the grassroots movement we're building together. And that's the kind of grassroots movement that will beat Donald Trump in November.
