Dear friend,
I had many reservations about going on one of the biggest right-wing podcasts in America.
When asked to come and speak on Tim Pool’s 1.3 million-subscriber show on behalf of drag culture, drag queen story hour, LGBTQIA+ education in schools, and trans rights, I thought that I actually do need to speak about this.
If I didn’t agree, they would have someone else—and I am fully qualified to speak about LGBTQIA+ inclusion in society.

When elected to US Congress, it will be my job to converse with people who have opposing values.
Furthermore, my hope was that at least one of Tim’s millions of subscribers might take this to heart and really hear from an actual trans, non-binary LGBTQIA+ person about their experience, and listen to what we are really fighting for/not base their entire opinion on what they hear on Fox News.
It was a challenging space to be in, but I think I did a pretty damn good job.
