As Israel celebrates 75 years of independence this year, I applaud President Isaac Herzog’s address to Congress and for his steadfast support of our nations' important strategic partnership. I had the great privilege of meeting with the Israeli President earlier this year, where we both agreed that peace through strength is essential for global stability. America will always continue to stand with our greatest ally in the Middle East.

Team Mullin had the honor of attending the 97th Air Mobility Wing Change of Command Ceremony for Col. Jeffrey M. Marshall under the leadership of Major General Clark Quinn at Altus Air Force Base. I want to thank Col. Blaine Baker for his steady leadership over the past two years. I couldn’t be more grateful for his and his family’s dedication and sacrifice to our base and our great nation.

This month marks the one-year anniversary of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. This line is a crucial resource for those experiencing a mental health crisis and needing immediate support. That’s why it’s imperative we ensure the 988 Lifeline is always operational so it can be available to people who truly need it in times of crisis.

Earlier this year, Senator Sinema and I introduced the 988 Lifeline Cybersecurity Responsibility Act to strengthen the cybersecurity protocols at the lifeline in response to a day-long outage which occurred in December 2022. We’re working to ensure an attack like this does not happen again.
