Mayorkas’ Complicity with Increase in Criminal Activity at the Border

This week, House Republicans on the Homeland Security Committee continued our investigation into Secretary Mayorkas' failure to secure our sovereign borders.

Secretary Mayorkas' dereliction of duty is clear. Right now, we are seeing the biggest human trafficking event of my lifetime. And because of his reckless open border policies, cartels are running a criminal enterprise here in the United States.

This was proved further by the witness testimonies provided by experts who have worked at our southern border. Secretary Mayorkas created our nation’s historic border crisis by implementing reckless policies, failing to enforce the laws passed by Congress, and ignoring the advice, recommendations, and warnings of experienced law enforcement.

Israel is NOT a Racist Country

Israel has stood as a friend to the United States for many years. A key component of friendship is looking out for one another and standing up for one another. I could not idly stand by as false accusations and repulsive anti-Israel statements were made this week by a group of progressive Democrats.

Let me clear — Israel is not a racist country. It is deeply disturbing and concerning to me that some in Congress have such a profound misunderstanding of Israel and Israeli society.

Racism has no place in Congress or public discord — period. Click below to watch remarks I made on the House floor, standing up for Israel, our friend and ally.

Protecting Our Children's Schools

Overwhelmed by the amount of illegal immigration the Biden administration is allowing to flow across the southern border, some Democrat cities have proposed housing migrants in our children’s schools — posing a risk to learning and campus security.

This week I voted for the Schools Not Shelters Act to keep that from happening. After years of pandemic-era school closures in these same Democrat cities, we must ensure all resources go toward our students' education and well-being.

Our Fighter, Ailani

This week, I had the joy of meeting Ailani, a beautiful young cancer fighter. Even a rare form of Leukemia can't steal her radiant smile!

Kids like Ailani are the reason I founded the Childhood Cancer Caucus, and I'll never stop working to eliminate cancer as a threat to their lives.
