john,
The National Republican Congressional Committee just issued a press release calling me a “rabid antisemite.”
Let's be clear: I'm Jewish.
My great-grandparents and grandparents left Europe at the turn of the 20th Century because of antisemitism, pogroms, and economic struggles.
It's absurd and offensive to label me and other Jewish members of the Democratic Party anti-Semitic bigots. Frankly, it is especially sickening that the attack comes from today's Republican Party, which panders to white nationalists.
This attack comes from the same Republican Party that has repeatedly used anti-Semitic tropes against me during past elections.
Several members of this same Republican Party have spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and even attended white nationalist conferences.
Republican congressmen in my office building have taken down the POW-MIA flag to fly the “An Appeal to Heaven” pine tree flag, a Revolutionary War flag which in recent years has become a symbol for Christian nationalism and Christian Dominionism. It was one of the flags waved by rioters on January 6 in front of the Capitol.
National Republicans will say anything to attack me – no matter how absurd… or hypocritical. Chip in $5 or whatever you can afford to help me keep WA-08 blue and fight back against the NRCC's offensive attacks >> [link removed]
Thank you,
Kim
To win back the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and reclaim the House majority in 2024?
