I reckon you might feel like you've heard enough of this topic, but believe me, we're finally on the cusp of discovering the dadgum truth about unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) or, as I like to call them, unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
As you may know, the House Oversight Committee, led by yours truly and my esteemed colleague Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, will hold a groundbreaking hearing on UAPs next week.
This hearing will be unlike any other. We've gathered witnesses who will speak honestly about their experiences, giving the public a chance to understand this realm's mystery better. Of course, we've faced major pushback from those who prefer to keep this hush-hush. We even paid a visit to a Florida Air Force base to talk to pilots who had UAP sightings, only to have the Pentagon try to throw us off. But if you know me, you know that isn’t going to stop me from fighting for the facts.
That’s why I encourage you to mark your calendars for July 26 to hear testimony from Air Force veteran David Grusch and former Navy commander David Fravor, among others. Their experiences will shed light on the seriousness of the situation, and we're mighty grateful for their courage.
But that’s not all. Our colleagues over in the Senate are making some strides too. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Mike Rounds have introduced an amendment to let the truth shine by declassifying and disclosing government records related to UAPs. That's what I'm talking about–transparency for all!
So keep your ears to the ground and eyes on your inbox because we got some major updates coming your way on this historic hearing.
