WHERE "BIDENOMICS" HAS FAILED, REPUBLICANS HAVE DELIVERED

While President Biden lies about the efficacy of his economic policies and willfully ignores the bleak state of the American economy, House Republicans have delivered on our promises to the American people.

We pledged that we would rebuild our economy and reignite the American Dream by cutting taxes, ending wasteful spending, and reversing President Biden’s regulatory insanity. Six months into our Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, I am proud to say that our policies reflect our promises.

MEETING WITH THE IOWA FARM BUREAU

It was great to have the Iowa Farm Bureau in my office this week to talk about priorities in this year’s Farm Bill vital to our farmers and producers.

Serving on the House Agriculture Committee, I am committed to being the strongest voice for Iowa agriculture in Congress.
LEADING A CONGRESSIONAL FORUM ON THE DANGERS OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY BUYING OUR FARMLAND

This week, I enjoyed leading a forum with my colleagues from the Congressional Western Caucus — one of the largest Republican caucuses on Capitol Hill that advocates for rural America — about the dangers that the Chinese Communist Party poses to the United States, our agriculture industry, and our food security at large.

This Congress, I’m proud that my Defend America’s Rural Energy Act — which bans China from buying American farmland suitable for ethanol and biodiesel production — passed the U.S. House of Representatives with wide, bipartisan support. This is the type of legislation that we must advance to stop China from infiltrating our rural communities and buying up our farmland. That said, I will continue to work to ensure that American farmland remains in the hands of American farmers.
PROTECTING IOWA AGRICULTURE'S ACCESS TO FOREIGN MARKETS

In the event of a foreign animal disease outbreak, we must ensure our ability to export our agricultural goods is not impacted.

That's why I'm proud to lead the Safe American Food Exports Act to safely continue agriculture exports during times of crisis.
Feenstra wants U.S. export protections in new farm bill

(Washington) -- Iowa Congressman Randy Feenstra wants assurance that U.S agriculture exports to other counties will continue in the event of an animal disease outbreak.

MEETING WITH THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE TO END HOMELESSNESS
I enjoyed meeting with folks from the National Alliance to End Homelessness to discuss how we can provide shelter to those who lack it.

As a Christian, I believe that the Lord calls upon us all to serve those less fortunate and make our world a better place — one day at a time.
PRESIDENT BIDEN'S GLOBAL TAX SURRENDER HARMS AMERICAN BUSINESSES

President Biden and Secretary Yellen forced our country into a foreign tax deal that punishes our businesses and props up China. It’s absolutely shameful.

Even worse, the Treasury Department has no jurisdiction whatsoever to write tax laws. This carelessness will have consequences.

Biden Should Use OECD Tax Talks to Help, Not Harm, US...

An OECD regulation that allows for new taxation of multinational companies will uniquely harm US businesses, and the Biden administration is doing nothing to stop it, say Reps. Randy Feenstra (R-Iowa) and Ron Estes (R-Kan.).

WELCOMING THE IOWA CORN GROWERS ASSOCIATION TO MY OFFICE

Iowa corn is vital to our rural economy and main streets.

I had a great meeting with the Iowa Corn Growers Association this week to discuss priorities important to corn growers in the Farm Bill, the importance of permanent year-round E-15, and my strong support for the Next Generation Fuels Act.
ONE LAST THING: RAGBRAI 50 IS ALMOST HERE!

I want to wish the thousands of bikers who are planning to participate in RAGBRAI this year a safe and enjoyable ride!

MY WEEKLY COLUMN: SECURING THE INTEGRITY OF AMERICAN ELECTIONS

The integrity of our elections and the power of our vote are vital to the health of our democracy. The United States remains a beacon of hope and promise because the people – not politicians – determine the outcome of elections with their voice and their vote.

That’s why I recently helped introduce the American Confidence in Elections Act, which would replicate Iowa’s success at the federal level while making it easier to vote and harder to cheat.
