John,
I’ve been so lucky to meet thousands of Virginians and Americans throughout my time in public service, and I’ve learned something from each new person I’ve had a chance to get to know.
I’ve learned more about what people truly value -- family, time with loved ones, good health, economic security, a safe and secure home. I’ve learned what can make people smile -- great music, a friendly face, a helping hand. And I’ve learned a lot about the universal struggles that people endure -- grief, loss, the stress of providing for family and caring for children, unexpected costs and illnesses and other roadblocks of life.
Trying to find common-sense solutions to ease some of those struggles is why I’ve dedicated my career to public service. From my time serving as a missionary, a civil rights attorney, and as an elected official at the local, state, and federal levels, I wake up every day with a true purpose: to do what I can, where I can, to help people across Virginia and America live a better life.
That purpose is why I’m seeking re-election to the Senate in 2024. I’ve been lucky to have the support of so many people over the past three decades, and I hope I’ll be able to count on your support again during this campaign.
As I head out on the campaign trail to keep Virginia -- and the Senate -- blue in the next election, will you help by splitting a donation of $15 or whatever amount is meaningful to you between my re-election campaign and Amy Klobuchar’s today?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split between Amy Klobuchar and Tim Kaine:
