Every child – regardless of where they live – deserves the right to a quality education. But Republicans' draft funding bill for 2024 proves that they're not on the side of students and teachers.

Republicans' bill would cut $63.8 BILLION from Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, as well as other related agencies. This would result in 220,000 teachers being kicked out of classrooms, and limit access to preschool, K-12 education, and job training. And these changes would disproportionately affect families in low-income communities.
