Ginther takes no accountability for Greyhound relocation, unsupportive of union bus drivers
That statement couldn’t be further from the truth. Officials of Ginther’s Development Department signed off on a Zoning Clearance and allowed this facility to open and operate without plumbing, one trash receptacle, improper maneuverability for buses, no lockers for passengers’ baggage, vending machines, and no on-site security.

Reproductive freedom in Ohio is one step closer
On Wednesday, July 5, Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights (OURR) filed more than 700,000 signatures to place reproductive freedom on the November General Election Ballot. The ACLU of Ohio is proud to serve on the Executive Committee of this historic campaign.

The August Special Election is the last hope for democracy in Ohio
Issue 1, to be voted on August 8th, wants to raise the number of votes required for citizen-initiated Ohio Constitutional amendments (the ones people bother you about in the Kroger parking lot) to pass from a simple majority (50% + 1) to 60%.
Pushed by right-wing government officials scared of being held accountable for their actions, this is a direct attack against democracy in Ohio. It will give even more power to an increasingly authoritarian and out-of-touch Statehouse. Proponents claim Issue 1 will end outside special interest influence on Ohio’s Constitution, yet Illinois billionaire and 2020 election denier Richard Uihlein has donated $1 million to pass Issue 1. If Issue 1 were to pass, democracy in Ohio would be dead.

Robert C Koehler writes Listening to Oppenheimer, Seven Decades Later
Oppenheimer challenged this official policy and shattered his career. Indeed, he saw immediately, as the newly developed bomb was tested at Alamogordo, New Mexico, on July 16, 1945, that Planet Earth was in danger. A team of physicists had just exposed its ultimate vulnerability and he famously noted, as he witnessed the mushroom cloud, that words of Hindu scripture from the Bhagavad-Gita entered his mind: “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.”

RFK's battle against the Vaccine Cartel by Pete Johnson: Robert Kennedy Jr.s quote on the vaccine issue is this. “I am not and have never been anti-vaccine. I’ve always said that I’m for safe vaccines and robust science and for regulatory agencies that are free from conflicts of interest and financial entanglements with the pharmaceutical industry.”
