Last year, Congress passed the PACT Act to expand access to health care benefits for the millions of veterans who were exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange and other toxic substances during their service.
I was proud to pass this bill into law and uphold our promise to care for our veterans.
There is no deadline to apply for PACT Act benefits, but there are benefits to filing before Wednesday, August 9th.
If you file your PACT Act claim or submit your intent to file by Wednesday, August 9th, you may be eligible to receive backpay from last year.
You can file you PACT Act claim by visiting va.gov/pact.
