YOU Are Making An Impact Through FRC

Dear John,

Lately, we've been hearing a lot of promises from public officials.

Yet, over many years of leading Family Research Council, one thing has become clear: the answers to crises in our culture will not come from politicians in Washington, D.C.

A true shift back to America's biblical foundations will only be achieved through the selfless efforts of concerned believers in every state and community -- by taking a prayerful, but bold stand for truth.

That's why FRC makes training and equipping pastors, faith leaders, and churches a top priority. Our expert field team encourages and empowers a nationwide network of approximately 40,000 pastors, who represent an estimated 10 million congregants.

To partner with church leaders on the ground and connect with citizens across the country, it takes dedicated staff to create training materials and resources.

During this critical year, we see opportunities to develop new relationships and resources. Can you give to FRC and jumpstart these outreach efforts for 2020?

Building on our research at FRC, we engage Bible-believing Christ-followers to think nationally and act locally.

That's the heartbeat of our multifaceted FRC Student Intern Program. To date, over 750 college students have undergone training and mentorship at our headquarters in Washington, D.C.

FRC interns receive intensive training in a biblical worldview and work closely with our experts and staff. Last year alone, these student leaders authored over 40 FRC blog posts -- perspective that is often reprinted by conservative media outlets.

Their dedicated efforts also helped FRC track and analyze over 1,600 bills in state legislatures.

This vital work enabled FRC experts to know the latest development on issues of life, religious liberty, marriage and family, and human sexuality.

Many of these student leaders believed so much in our mission, they've joined the team. Currently, eight former interns work full-time on the FRC staff.

To help FRC raise up the next generation of leaders trained in truth, can you give today?

Reaching pastors and the next generation is only the beginning of FRC's work in the public square.

As the expression and exercise of faith in America has come under fire from the Left over the last decade, FRC experts have worked diligently to provide insights to public officials to counter this assault.

FRC team members dialogue every day with leaders on Capitol Hill and in the halls of government. Our policy briefs and detailed information help leaders discern what truly matters in complex public policy issues.

To defend our freedoms on the front lines, FRC experts provide testimony before official state and local bodies. For example, in Maryland:

  • Our life issues director Patrina Mosley testified concerning a law to protect pain-capable unborn children from abortion.
  • FRC's senior policy fellow on gender issues Peter Sprigg spoke against a ban on counseling for those experiencing unwanted same-sex attraction.

These testimonies can often have ripple effects on issues for years to come -- the truth is now in the public record!

As you can see, impacting our culture for Christ will take reaching political, thought, and ministry leaders. Thanks to your faithful support, FRC is active on all these fronts.

P.S. - The Left has made it clear that they will not tolerate anything that opposes their godless agenda for our nation. Can you give your best gift to fuel FRC's mission in this critical hour?
