NCRC To Host Regional Summit For Mountain West Community Development Leaders

NCRC will host a regional summit in Denver September 26 – 27, 2023. The summit will bring together housing and community development leaders; faith-based organizations and fair lending advocates; financial institutions and environmental justice groups; as well as small business entrepreneurs, tribal leaders, public officials and academics to discuss and discover ways to reinvest in communities across The Mountain West Region. Fatal Flaws In Draft Crypto Regulations From House Republicans Mean Lawmakers Should Start Over

New draft legislation introduced by Republicans on the House Financial Services Committee represents a move in the wrong direction on regulating digital assets. The draft does little to challenge poor existing standards for crypto disclosures. It enables too many digital asset issuers to avoid the full scrutiny of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). And it invites other financial sectors to integrate distributed ledgers to evade traditional supervision. [Read more ([link removed] ) ]
