John,

The Mountain Valley Pipeline threatens people, waterways, and endangered fish like the colorful candy darter and Roanoke logperch. Following action by the Center and allies, a federal court has ordered a temporary halt to construction. But the fight isn’t over: [link removed]

This corporation has already racked up hundreds of environmental violations, but getting the Mountain Valley Pipeline isn’t enough. It wants to add another pipeline — more than 75 miles into North Carolina. MVP Southgate is now asking the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for a three-year certificate extension, which would allow the project to move forward even though it lacks crucial air and water permits.
