Early voting for the March 3 Texas primary elections begins today and continues until Feb. 28 . Your opportunity to have a say about the kind of state and country you want is finally here.

So go vote!

This is the most critical election year ever. Not only will we pick a new president, but control of the Texas Legislature and the balance of power at the State Board of Education are on the ballot this year. This primary is our opportunity to decide which candidates we want to see on our ballots in November.

And remember, during early voting you can cast a ballot at any polling place in the county where you live. And when you go, don't forget to bring your photo ID or your voter registration certificate.
