House Republicans intentionally targeted and stripped away $2 million in
federal community funding for The Pryde, an affordable housing project for
LGBTQ+ seniors in Hyde Park, Massachusetts.

Ayanna advocated for this funding to help turn a former Boston Public
School building into high-quality, affordable housing units for LGBTQ+
seniors, with 10,000 square feet of community space for critical services
and enrichment opportunities.

But Republicans on the GOP-controlled House Transportation, Housing, and
Urban Development Committee chose to target and eliminate funding for
vital community projects just because they supported the LGBTQ+ community
— it’s cruel, homophobic, and yet another an attack on our LGBTQ+ siblings
here in Massachusetts and across the country.

[ [link removed] ]Ayanna has always fought alongside our LGBTQ+ community members, and
she won’t let this slide. Let her know you have her back as she keeps up
the fight to fund critical projects like this one and end discrimination
