Hi John,
I recently met a woman who works as a cleaner in a Wilmington office building.
She told us with pride that her union recently won a new contract that guarantees her and her coworkers a wage of $15 an hour. |

But the union and its members didn’t stop there. Instead, they took the fight for a livable minimum wage statewide. They understand that our current minimum wage isn’t sustainable, and they’re fighting to lift up their fellow workers.
This woman’s story reminded me of the time I knocked on an Amazon worker’s door in the first weeks of our campaign. She said while she was glad to make $15 an hour, she wanted that for everyone else, too.
Across our state we are seeing working people stand together to fight for their rights and the rights of their neighbors.
It’s inspiring. It keeps us going. And it’s only through building this coalition of working class people that we engage new voters, beat back Trumpism, and win.
