Kevin McCarthy is getting involved…the Speaker of the House has been calling his GOP-friends in the state legislature asking them to support the map where the Black population in the 2nd district is only 38.31%.

Let’s be clear: This map would NOT create a second majority minority district as directed by SEVERAL courts and it violates the Voting Rights Act.

It also means two things: 1) Alabama’s legal victory and its implications has the GOP scared here at home and in Washington; and 2) They are not going to give up without a fight — including coming for my seat.
