John - You may have seen headlines recently that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.—a prominent anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist and anti-LGBTQ bigot—was invited to testify in the U.S. House by none other than Jim Jordan.

The supposed topic of this hearing, happening right now, is about “government censorship”; but in keeping with Jordan’s subversive, hyperpartisan abuse of power in his role as Judiciary Committee Chairman, RFK, Jr. is being given a platform to “harm” Democrats and throw red meat to the deranged MAGA base.

The Weaponization of the Federal Government Subcommittee is a bogus, partisan platform created by Jim Jordan to promote himself, support Donald Trump, and amplify anti-American conspiracy theorists who seek relentlessly to tear people in this country apart. Today, Jim Jordan doubled down on the conspiracy circus by validating RFK, Jr.’s baseless claim that baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron died due to receiving a COVID vaccine.

Hank Aaron was 86 years old when he died. And a medical examination found zero evidence that the vaccine would have, or could have, caused his death. RFK, Jr. and Jim Jordan repeat this false, debunked claim because they know that millions of Trump followers and right wing conspiracy theorists believe it, and they think it will help them politically.
