Everything I do is rooted in my district, my background, and the people I represent in New York and across the country. The American people want housing, public education, and access to healthcare. I am working hard in Congress to make that happen. If you’re with me, can you chip in to power our work today?
I ran to bring the voice of our community to the halls of the Capitol because the decisions made by our lawmakers were not benefiting us. Instead, I saw lawmakers vote for special interest groups and line their pockets with corporate money.
This isn’t how we’re going to make progress. We’re only to create change by not being afraid to disrupt the status quo and fighting back against the millions of dark money in our politics. Can you imagine just how different our lives would look if we invested that money into debt forgiveness, funding our schools, or infrastructure, or fair wages?
