Friend, anyone who knows me knows that I love baseball – and especially the Cleveland Guardians. I'm a die-hard fan, and I have been ever since my dad started taking my brothers and me to games at Municipal Stadium.

There are three things you should know about Cleveland sports fans: We always believe in our teams, we never give up hope, and we hang on to the joy of each win as if each one is its own miracle.

That’s how I approach serving in the Senate, too. I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish for working families in Ohio and across the country. But there's more work to be done, and we’ve got to keep stepping up to the plate and swinging for the fences. 

I’m running for reelection to go to bat for ALL Ohioans, but I can’t do it alone. Experts from CNN to FiveThirtyEight say that I’m one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot, and this race is officially a toss-up.

I need you on my team, friend. Please, will you pitch in $5 or more now to help me hit it out of the park, defend my seat, and keep the Senate blue?
