CNN: House passes defense bill after adopting controversial amendments targeting abortion policy and other issues

john,

For years, the National Defense Authorization Act has been a bipartisan effort to support and fund our national security. Kim has supported bipartisan versions of the NDAA four times in the past.

But this year, House Republicans are recklessly using the NDAA to further their extreme agenda.

Last week, Kevin McCarthy and MAGA House Republicans voted to pass the NDAA with extreme amendments restricting Pentagon policies on abortion access. That’s unacceptable.

House Republicans should not be attacking service members’ right to make private family planning decisions or their right to reproductive health care.

These amendments to the NDAA are unnecessary and threaten to undermine our armed forces' readiness – and that’s why Kim voted NO.

If you agree, we need to reject MAGA Republicans’ attempt to force their anti-choice agenda into the National Defense Authorization Act, add your name → [link removed]

Thanks,

Team Schrier

To win back the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and reclaim the House majority in 2024?
