New Billboard Up in Milwaukee
This billboard is up at the south-east corner of Wells and James Lovell (7th) Streets, across the street from the Milwaukee Public Museum through the month of February and again for the month of July when the Democratic National Convention will be held nearby. Partnering on this effort are Milwaukee Veterans For Peace Chapter 102 and Progressive Democrats of America. We want to put up messages of peace in Ottawa, Canada, this spring during the enormous weapons show that we'll be countering with our #NoWar2020 conference and week of actions. We also want to put up billboards in Okinawa in support of base closure activism, and in Tokyo during the Olympics. We can only do this with your help. Donate to our billboards campaign and be sure to mention in the comment box where you'd most like to see billboards.

Free Webinar: Alternative Global Security System (AGSS)
What's the AGSS? It's World BEYOND War's book A Global Security System: An Alternative to War (AGSS), which provides a blueprint for the strategies needed to demilitarize security, manage conflict nonviolently, and create a culture of peace. On February 19 at 4:00pm Eastern Time, we'll be joined by Phill Gittins, PhD (WBW's Education Director) and Tony Jenkins, PhD (Education Director 2017-2019) to demystify the AGSS. We'll explain the nuts and bolts of the alternative global security system: the frameworks, processes, tools, and institutions necessary for dismantling the war machine and replacing it with a peace system based on common security. Register to reserve your spot!
