Friend, have you heard the news? Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand just introduced a resolution to finally codify the Equal Rights Amendment into the U.S. Constitution!

The ERA would establish that civil rights cannot be infringed upon or taken away on the basis of gender — including our reproductive freedoms. Activists have been fighting for 100 years to add this amendment to our Constitution — and with abortion access under attack, we can't wait any longer.

There's no one better than Kirsten to lead this fight — she's bold, relentless and never backs away from a challenge. But by introducing this huge piece of legislation, Kirsten has put a target on her back. With Republicans eyeing her seat for defeat, Kirsten was already heading into a tough reelection fight. Now, the stakes are even higher.
