[1]The Long Run PAC

I am reaching out to you today to ask you to split a contribution between Power to the Polls Wisconsin, a voter turnout project committed to getting infrequent voters to the polls, and The Long Run.

If that’s all you need to hear, please use this link to make a contribution of $5 or whatever you can afford to Power to the Polls and The Long Run today.

Otherwise, give me a chance to explain:

Power to the Polls is a community-driven organizing operation in Wisconsin that has and will continue to deliver results.

But don’t just take it from me, the facts speak for themselves. Here's just some of what Power to the Polls accomplished in the historic April 2023 election:

- 175 organizers knocked on over 88,000 doors communicating directly with voters
- Sent hundreds of thousands of direct mail pieces, texts, and phone calls
- Invested in digital, streaming, and Black radio advertising to reach voters where they are
- Improved voter turnout by 64% in Milwaukee — which is 44,040 additional votes than the 2019 election

These organizing efforts are what led to Democratic success in April and the election of Janet Protasiewicz in the WI Supreme Court race that flipped the court’s conservative majority to liberal for the first time in 15 years.

By building up a large base of Black, brown, and working-class voters, Power to the Polls has proven that a community-driven, power-building organizing operation fills key gaps and provides opportunities for communities to reclaim their power in the electoral process — because when these voters stay home, we lose.

Power to the Polls has delivered meaningful results and change, and they will be vital in the re-election of President Biden and Senator Baldwin next year.

In 2024, we can’t leave anything up to chance in a state as critical as WI. My race came down to less than 30,000 votes. President Biden defeated Trump in 2020 by less than 30,000 votes. Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 by less than 30,000 votes. Supporting Power to the Polls can be the difference between winning and losing the White House, so I am asking:

Can you please split a contribution between Power to the Polls and the Long Run today? Every donation will help empower and turn out voters of color in Wisconsin, and help us keep Wisconsin blue.

You have stood by my side and supported me in many different ways, Dawn. I hope you can step up once more to support this meaningful movement.

With gratitude,

Mandela Barnes
