Are you Strike Ready?⚡️ We've got less than TWO Weeks left until the UPS Teamsters contract expires at midnight on July 31st! If UPS fails to deliver on workers' demands for higher part-time wages, the Teamsters will launch the largest private-sector strike in decades.

Atlanta DSA is committing to support Teamsters in this historic fight, and you can help! We've been joining UPS Teamsters at practice pickets all around metro-Atlanta, raising funds for the picket line, and more! You can help out by signing #StrikeReady pledge and commit to join UPS workers on the picket line when the time comes.

We'll be joined by special guest, Teamsters President Sean O'Brien! You're not going to want to miss this opportunity. Republic Teamsters Fight Back! Join us Friday, July 21 @ 4PM to rally in solidarity with the more than 180 essential waste workers in Metro Atlanta fighting for a fair contract. 🌹Picket Line 101 Training 7/29🌹

Ready to join the picket line in August? There are some things to know before you go! Join our picket line training 101 session, next Saturday July 29, 1PM at our next General Meeting! Meet us at 711 Catherine St SW for a training on the proper picket line etiquette. Our goal on the picket line is always to support workers and hold meaningful conversations with them -- not bring our own signs or pass out literature! Learn about the best way you can support striking workers and RSVP for the training here! If you can't make it in person, join DSA's national picket line training on Zoom, July 25 at 8:30 PM.
