A new animation to help you get to grips with Ireland and the SDGs
Hello John,
In our ever-changing and ever-more connected world, young people are being left behind because of inequalities, discrimination, racism, and systemic challenges.
To help you get to grips with some of the issues facing young people in Ireland and around the globe, we invite you to watch this animation on Leaving No One Behind ([link removed]) we've created together with our Youth2030-Global Youth Work partners Concern Worldwide, Trócaire, Maynooth University, and Irish Aid.

Why is this important?
This week the Government of Ireland presented its Voluntary National Review (VNR) on progress in meeting the SDGs by 2030.
As part of this, our UN Youth Delegates, Jessica Gill and David Giles, wrote one of the world's first youth chapters in a VNR report on the theme of Leaving No One Behind!
So once you've watched our video, if you want to delve deeper, check out the links below.
🧾Read the (first ever!) youth chapter of Ireland's VNR here ([link removed] ) (page 64+)
📺 Watch Ireland's UN High-Level Political Forum event on meaningful youth participation ([link removed]) with David, Jessica and Minister Ryan.
I'd love to hear what you think of these resources John. And of course, if you have any questions, get in touch! :)
All the best,
Valerie
