I’ve tried my hand at a few DIY furniture builds over the years, folks.

Here’s my process: Start off certain I can finish it in an afternoon, start working, realize I’m missing supplies and head to the hardware store, start working again, notice I’ve missed a step, try to make it work anyway…and voila, I’ve got a semi-functional piece of furniture.

(Hey, I never said I was good at DIY projects…)

Sometimes, a campaign unfolds the same way: You often don’t know where you went wrong until it’s too late to turn back.

But in this case, we won’t have a slightly off-kilter bookshelf — we’ll have an anti-choice, science-denying right-winger representing IL-06 in Congress!

So, folks, I need plenty of help from you to build a sturdy and durable campaign that won’t crack under pressure. Will you pitch in $25 so we can get all the nuts and bolts just right?
