Hi John,
We know that to defeat the far right, we need to build strong and hopeful communities across the UK. Will you help make that happen?
On July 28th, HOPE not hate is running a major community fun day in Bradford where we’ve been working for years. We use this event as an opportunity to bring people together in solidarity so that they can meet like minded people and have some fun. And the event is completely free to make sure it's accesible to everyone in the local area!
We’ve produced a community newspaper which local volunteers plan to distribute in the local area.
Can you chip in to help us pay for the printing costs?
I'll chip in
In the past Bradford has been targeted by fascist and far right parties, with them gaining ground in some areas. This means that events like this are important to build communities that will challenge racism, hatred and division and keep the far right out.
The fun day is on Friday 28th July, 11am – 3pm, at Horsfall Stadium, Cemetery Road, BD6 2NG. So if you live in the area and would like to join us, you can sign up here.
Last year we brought over 2,000 people together. Will you help this year’s go even further? To pull this off, we need to raise £5,000. This will cover our leaflets and spread the word in the local Bradford community.
I'll chip in
I know times are tough and people are struggling financially, so anything you’re able to chip in will be a huge help.
Thanks for everything you do
Angharad
