AP: House Republicans push through defense bill limiting abortion access and halting diversity efforts

MAGA Republicans are playing politics with our service members and our national security, team.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has historically been a bipartisan process to support and fund our national security. I have been proud to fight for military pay raises, address toxic exposure, and improve workforce and housing services for veterans.
But last week Kevin McCarthy and MAGA Republicans hijacked the NDAA.
House Republicans passed a version with extreme, partisan amendments – including a dangerous abortion ban for service members. That's unacceptable.
