Happy Presidents Day! Today we honor not a particular president, but the office of the Presidency itself. Since the American Revolution, Presidents have served as role models, visionaries, and moral leaders for the country and the world beyond our borders.

To honor the rich history of the Presidency today, I asked each of my children which President they looked up to the most. Here is what they said:

Marit (7 years old) - John F. Kennedy
Ike (9 years old) - Dwight Eisenhower
Lincoln (12 years old) - Abraham Lincoln
Maggie (14 years old) - Theodore Roosevelt

Thank gosh one of my kids picked a Democrat! Reply to this email and let us know who your favorite president is.

Regardless of a favorite, I am grateful to all those who have served our country in this role. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with family.
