Happy President’s Day!
Over the weekend I was with a team of volunteers gathering petitions at a gun show and met some incredible Americans!
One couple I met were the Swensens. Mr. and Mrs. Swensen were life-long Democrats and recently switched to the Republican Party!
Mr. Swensen had been a member of the Democrat Party for 50 years! And made the switch to the GOP just last week!

When I spoke to Mr. Swensen more about his decision, it came down to the progress made by one man, President Donald J. Trump.
Partisan politics aside, Americans are intelligent and they’re able to recognize progress when they see it.
Americans are not looking for politicians to simply fall in line with their party of choice, they’re looking for someone who will lead the nation in a way that will make their lives better.
Mr. and Mrs. Swensen recognized that in President Trump, and I was honored to have their support as they signed my petitions.
2020 will be an amazing year as Americans wake up to the reality of progress, and I’m honored to be part of it.
