It’s Hot Strike Summer, John — with workers across industries joining together to demand better pay and better working conditions for all.
The next group of workers to join this historic moment are UPS workers — who despite delivering record profits for the company, are still denied a living wage.
On August 1st, UPS workers will stop all deliveries unless UPS negotiates a new agreement with their workers. With 1 in 4 packages delivered by UPS workers, this would be the largest work stoppage in the US since 1959!1
We firmly stand with UPS workers who are demanding a fair wage for part-time workers and more full-time jobs. If you agree, then sign the petition standing in solidarity with striking UPS workers. We'll share your signatures and messages of support with UPS workers in advance of their Day of Action this Friday.

Despite taking in more than $13 billion in profits a year, more than half of all UPS workers are part-time and are paid as little as $15.50 an hour. UPS workers are standing together to end part-time poverty at UPS by demanding a fair wage for all and more full-time positions.
But UPS has refused to negotiate — walking away during previous attempts to come to an agreement. With the current contract with the Teamsters Union set to expire on July 31st, UPS workers are prepared to strike on August 1st if a fair agreement is not reached.
We need to show the executives at UPS that we have the workers’ backs. That’s why we are helping collect as many signatures as we can before Friday’s Day of Action. Will you add your name to the petition to stand in solidarity with UPS workers?
