John, our campaign has generated a ton of early momentum, and that's credit to your incredible support over the last two months.

With the help of over 4,300 supporters, our campaign ranked #2 in fundraising among all competitive House challengers in the United States -- and that goes for both Democrats and Republicans.

Here's what I’m most proud of: 95% of our fundraising total came in from individual donors like you, John.Meanwhile, just over half of Calvert's fundraising total (52%) came in directly from individuals. In fact, over $200,000 of his total came from corporate PACs, the real estate industry, and his Freedom Caucus allies like Marjorie Taylor Greene.

It’s no secret that our political system is broken when it comes to the way insider politicians like Ken Calvert fund their campaigns. I believe that a huge piece in making progress means funding our campaigns the right way -- free of corporate or special interests. That's why I made a day-one pledge never to take a dime of corporate PAC money.

Calvert may see that as a weakness for us, but I disagree. In fact, I think it's our biggest strength. When the vast majority of our support comes in from individuals -- pitching in what they can afford -- it sends the message that real people are energized to bring change to our community.
