Pack the hearing room this Wednesday!

Kenza here from TakeAction Minnesota with big news.

The first bill hearing for the Prescription Drug Affordability Commission bill is scheduled.

As Minnesotans, we believe in human dignity. No matter where we live, what we look like, or what’s in our wallets, everyone deserves access to affordable medicine -- no exception.

In the last two weeks, so many of you have shared your stories about high prescription drug prices with us. Now, it’s time to take action and pack the hearing room.

Join together for health, medicine, and the public good this Wednesday, February 19 at 2:30 p.m. in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. RSVP on Facebook or reply to this email if you can attend.

Medicine is a public good, but the reality is that corporations rake in profits selling medicine developed by public research. It’s wrong. But together, we can change the rules.

Our lawmakers need to hear from you. Join us at the State Office Building of the Capitol THIS Wednesday to take on Big Pharma.
